Brian from Last Cast Guide Service go-to color for Pomme de Terre Lake, but he says it will catch them on any lake. He uses it year-round.

Now, a little history on where Brian got the name.

The phrase "Pomme de Terre" is French for "Apple of the Earth" or "potato." The Pomme de Terre River was probably named after plants that resembled potatoes that grew on the bank. This plant was probably an Apios Americana or Potato Bean and was used for food by the Indians.
